::: Page 1 ::: This is brief, focused biography about myself. Currently, I'm a professional college student, and I hope to be graduated in May 2008. I'm seeking a bachelors in Information Systems, and later I plan to get my graduate degree. I've always been a techy kind of girl and really fiddle with computers on various levels. Computers, technology in general, is my skill, but my passion has always been creativity. I can recall being a child and having countless Transformers that I was given by my brothers and parents. For hours and weeks on end, I would stage long battles between my Autobots and Decepticons. The toys would be strewn across the house, but I knew exactly how the story would go each time. I'd also get quite mad if they were ever moved overnight when I was in the middle of one of my battles. So it is my imaginative childhood I credit to the development of my writing today. I began writing in the fanfiction realm back in 1999, and my first story has a start date of May 23, 1999. Originally, I was solely a fanfiction reader in the Xenaverse and read many of the classic bards such as Melissa Good, Jamie Boughan, Bongo Bear, C.N. Winters, DJWP, XWP Fanatic and lots of others. Then around 2001 I lost patience to write my stories despite my muses were restless. It has only been in the past year that I've found the peace and excitement that my fanfiction and muses can still give me. Recently, I have branched out into Law & Order SVU, Supergirl, Star Trek Voyager, and Wicked from the Broadway play. I've also dipped into poetry and some original pieces. I may have begun writing back in 1999, however, I've always had an interest in creative writing. Since middle school, I have taken creative writing classes or various specialized English classes such as German Short Stories. Yet I still seem to return to reading and writing fanfiction, especially XWP. The stories that I write today are a far cry from my first pieces. Over the years my writing style as grown, adapted, and changed in such ways as grammar, mechanics, accurate history, and plot line. And I have my dream to one day try for publishing. |
